Super thick and fluffy pancakes recipe that serve well with syrup, chocolate sauce or anything you fancy and is very simple to make.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self-raising flour (125g)
- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Preparation:
- Mix together the flour and sugar in a bowl.
- Make a well in the center and crack in the egg.
- Whisk while pouring the milk slowly over it.
- Add the vanilla and melted butter. Whisk to mix well.
- Turn on the stove and grease the centre of a pan with a little bit of oil.
- Pour a laddle-full of batter and let it spread on its own.
- Once enough bubbles are formed, flip the pancake and let the other side cook.
- Remove from heat and repeat with the rest of the batter and serve hot with a tablespoon of butter, chocolate sauce or syrup!
P.S: This recipe makes 5-6 regular sized pancakes. Double or triple the recipe as per your needs.
