Pancakes

Super thick and fluffy pancakes recipe that serve well with syrup, chocolate sauce or anything you fancy and is very simple to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup self-raising flour (125g)
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Preparation:

  1. Mix together the flour and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center and crack in the egg.
  3. Whisk while pouring the milk slowly over it.
  4. Add the vanilla and melted butter. Whisk to mix well.
  5. Turn on the stove and grease the centre of a pan with a little bit of oil.
  6. Pour a laddle-full of batter and let it spread on its own.
  7. Once enough bubbles are formed, flip the pancake and let the other side cook.
  8. Remove from heat and repeat with the rest of the batter and serve hot with a tablespoon of butter, chocolate sauce or syrup!

P.S: This recipe makes 5-6 regular sized pancakes. Double or triple the recipe as per your needs.
